In today’s digital world, we face constant notifications and
endless scrolling can leave us feeling frazzled. As a mum of daughters navigating the ups and downs of
device addiction, I know how hard it can be to disconnect. Tech companies go out of their way to stop
you taking a break and design products to keep you hooked.
The relentless pressure of social
media streaks and app challenges can make it feel impossible to go even 24 hours device free. That’s why
I make it a point to escape London for a break in nature a few times a year.
Unplugging
provides the space for creative thought and appreciation of the simple things in life. A family walk. A
game. Exploring a new campsite. Sea swimming. Nature spotting.
These wellbing experiences nurture mental
clarity and emotional well-being and leave me feeling refreshed and inspired.
Glamping Experiences You'll Love
Ewelease Farm near Weymouth is my happy place (I'll never
get bored of waking up to a view of the sea each morning) but also love Rebel Farm in Kent, New Wharf
Campsite in Hampshire and Home Farm in Hertfordshire.
Appreciate camping or glamping is not for
everyone so highly recommend checking out these experiences where you can unplug and relax. Unwind at
Bethnal and Bec, be pampered at Oastbrook luxury glamping or set off for an adventure in your own Landrover Defender. I'm a big
fan of clubbing together and getting an overnight stay as a wedding gift or a big
birthday.
Life is better when we slow down, breathe, play and enjoy the world around us. I
guarantee you’ll be greeted by nature’s beauty, clean air and a slower pace which allows you to simply
be.
By turning off my phone and laptop, I find the freedom to engage fully with my family,
nature and my own thoughts.
Happy camping all!
