THE PANCAKES
A pancake is not just for Shrove Tuesday it is for every day. These pancakes are simply puffs of delight. The flour is sourced from Shipton Mill, the bacon from Swaledale, and the maple syrup is most definitely ‘A’ grade. Flour and eggs battered into deliciousness. There are pancakes to delight every taste bud. Are you sweet or savoury? Vegan or Veggie? Going wheat free. No problem. Dairy free? Bring it on.
From morning to night there is a pancake with your name on it. A tea delight could include a topping of strawberries and cream or they could be just be served as an aside adding cheer to a glass of Prosecco or a signature cocktail. Think about it. A Mississippi Mule with a smoked salmon blini - the afternoon just got even better. The space itself was pre-constructed and then shipped from Amsterdam, before landing in Arch 35a under the railway on the Southwark Bridge Road. The style is Scandi and small children and dogs are welcomed with high chairs for some, bowls of water for the others. For once the name really does reflect the menu.
This is very simply ‘Where the Pancakes Are’ - but as pancakes go they are anything but simple. Oh and look out for the dutch babies…

What a hidden gem this place is! Just 5 minutes walk from London Bridge and the hustle and bustle of Borough Market this pancake place is lovely. We received a warm friendly welcome from the staff, they explained in detail options for my husband who's pescatarian and doesn't eat eggs. We had the Australian corn fritters with extra pancake and a vegan option (very close to pancakes with eggs, slightly less tasty but once the toppings were on you wouldn't notice). Bought as a gift for Christmas so can’t comment on the experience itself - but the service was excellent
It's a cute little cafe for a date, small outing with your friends, perfect if you love pancakes! They have veg and vegan options as well
This place and staff are amazing, very helpful with the Gluten menu , service was excellent as was the food , will definitely be returning.
Came here because of the gluten free pancakes options. Food was delicious. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about what gluten free options. Would recommend to anyone. Dietary restrictions: Gluten allergy pancakes available. Any of their pancake options can be made gluten free. They were delicious!!
Great food. I had the vegan breakfast and it tasted great, lots of variety on the same plate. Waiter was nice and pleasant, very helpful. I reserved on the day but there was plenty of space when we arrived. Came here with a friend, would come here again.
