WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Cheese on a barge. Showstoppingly delicious cheese tasting experience, showcasing the best British producers, and the barge is a double-decker forged in a Somerset boatyard and moored in the Paddington Basin. It has proved to be a floating sensation. In this experience you will funnily enough be eating cheese, but you will also be learning about how to pair the different varieties with wine.
At this point we should mention that talking curds and whey is what the cheese barge do best.
If you want to discuss the finer points of a Driftwood Goat’s cheese, or question the veining on a Lanark Blue then this is the place to do it. You will be sipping some rather lovely wines too.

This experience is for two or four people and includes a wine pairing. The Cheese Barge is located in Paddington. This completely British food experience is the perfect gift for the cheese lover in your life, or perfect date night.
Available for bookings anytime between Monday-Friday 12-4pm and Sundays between 12pm - 7:15pm (subject to availability). The experience lasts approx. 90 minutes.

My sister and I had a great time at the Cheese Barge. Although we have been to many wine and cheese tastings, this one was super special. We got to try really different wines, expertly paired with delicious British cheeses. Our server Lucca was attentive and made the experience really memorable by describing the pairings and answering our questions.

One of the best places I have eaten out at, every dish was immaculate could not have picked a better place to eat at. Staff were super friendly and the barge itself is a great venue in a very convenient location this is a must visit for sure. 100% coming again

Great service and a delicious array of cheese. It was also pretty easy to get to as right near Paddington station. I had high expectations as I adore the company’s Seven Dials Pick & Cheese restaurant already, and it didn’t disappoint. If wondering, they also had good toilets and we couldn’t feel any rocking from the water.
