WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
King sized bed, mood lighting, cosy towels, fabulous wines… everything you would expect as standard in a boutique hotel has been transported into a bell tent. This luxury glamping is situated in Bodiam, Sussex and is part of the Oastbrook winery.
There are only eight boutique bell tents pegged around a central firepit. The view over the vineyard is magical, with the Oast houses as background. This may be the moment to mention the all important shower rooms. There are individual cabin washrooms complete with bathroom accessories and products. These are also very lux. Do not panic about the shower experience on this trip.
Chill by the waterside bar, or if you prefer Oastbrook wine can be delivered directly to the tent. If you are a barbecue aficionado then relax around your very own Weber BBQ. Prefer to go out? The Castle Inn pub is an easy and picturesque 12 minute stroll across fields.
What else? Oh yes, breakfast. A box will be delivered to your tent each morning. Wake up to fruit juice, yoghurt, granola and croissants. If you decide to leave the estate (and really why would you?) there are plenty of local attractions, including Bodiam Castle and the Rother River.
Your stay includes a tour of the vineyard and a wine tasting of Oastbook's award winning wine (available Thursday to Sunday).
This is glamping re-invented for discerning travellers - the ones who like a aromatic Pinot Gris, Vintage Fizz, refreshing chardonnay or smooth Pinot Noir as a nightcap before snuggling down under the canvas.

America and Nick were fabulous hosts, very informative about the vineyard and wine production. We enjoyed trying the four wines, we also got a small mouthful of other wines as we then bought six bottles. The glamping tent was well thought out, and the duvet was lovely and warm. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind and we had strong winds and rain, but still enjoyed our stay.
Fab place with passionate owners and lovely natural views. The bathrooms and shower facilities were BEYOND incredible vs any other glamp situation I’ve experienced.
We had an amazing Trip to Oastbrook Vineyard staying in a spacious Bell Tent overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. Everything was great from the facilities to the fantastic wines we sampled on the Vineyard Tour. America and Nick are so welcoming and it was so interesting to learn how their fantastic wines are produced. All in all for us a perfect stay and we can't wait to go back!
We stayed in a glamping tent - what a great experience and genuinely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Next day we did the vineyard tour which was not only very informative but America made it highly amusing with her various stories. Then on to the wine tasting itself which Nick made equally interesting (oh, and the wine was great too!). Loved it.
