A brilliant experience. It was well thought out and planned, covering all the essential tips through different areas in the inspirational Shorditch. James was knowledgable, friendly, encouraging and challenging all at the same time. It was a full group but we all had our share of his expertise and wisdom. It was overall entertaining and enjoyable as well as informative and I’d definately do another.

The workshop was one of the best things I’ve done since moving to London a year ago. I left the session with a huge smile on my face and a bounce in my step, my creative juices given a boost and a reminder of how much arts and crafts is good for my soul.

Food atmosphere and service was all fantastic. We had so much to eat and they kept offering more. The tea was amazing too so many different choices.

My sister and I had a great time at the Cheese Barge. Although we have been to many wine and cheese tastings, this one was super special. We got to try really different wines, expertly paired with delicious British cheeses. Our server Lucca was attentive and made the experience really memorable by describing the pairings and answering our questions.

The venue is excellent, very calm and comfortable for a relaxed afternoon. Great surroundings and the food was delicious. A lovely alternative the traditional afternoon tea. The staff were lovely too. A very enjoyable experience.

I took my mother here for afternoon tea, and wasn’t expecting too much, as it was a freebie which I redeemed... However, the entire experience was brilliant and would not bat an eyelid at experiencing again as a paying customer. The setting, in ‘the birdcage’ was beautiful, and I don’t know whether it is a usual feature, but there was a harpist playing at the time, which really added to the experience. Upon arrival at the reception desk all staff were polite and certainly made us feel welcome, we were ushered to our seats without any rush, the food was excellent from the starter, main and dessert with a complimentary Mocktail. Although there was only one choice of Mocktail our experience overall including the staff, the ambience of the dining area. Not to loud not too quiet.

I had a great time. This was my first ever attempt at using a pottery wheel. The instructor was very kind and patient and willing to let me try all the steps myself. Highly recommend!

My son bought this for my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Cocktails and hot chocolate were a lovely extra touch to other afternoon teas I have had.

We had a fantastic time exploring different aspects of photography. Our guide was personable, informative and gave us clear instructions on how to improve our shots. Would totally recommend!

The Sunborn was luxurious and the staff, service, afternoon tea and breakfast were wonderful.The room and all the facilities were fantastic and the location was great and very close to the station, restaurants etc. We found a fantastic local pub in Canning town which was a great find and enjoyed our night with the locals.
