WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

What do Buttercup, Mr Blue Sky, Penny Lane and Good Thing have in common?

They are all retro campervans - and as everyone knows, any campervan worth its salt comes equipped with a great name!

These original Volkswagen campers (born in the 70s and 80s) are parked up near King’s Lynn in West Norfolk, conveniently located at the gateway to the North Norfolk Coast - an ideal location to start your retro holiday.  Get behind the wheel and discover the beautiful coast and quiet countryside of Norfolk, where there is no shortage of amazing little campsites when you feel like parking up and playing a game of frisbee. Or perhaps head to the Broads, to Suffolk or maybe explore Rutland Water or the Lincolnshire Wolds?

There’s room for up to four people, with a double bed downstairs and a small double bunk above, ideal for the kids or the dog. There’s a gas cooker, a fridge, water, and all the cooking equipment and wine glasses you are likely to need. In fact, the area is awash with pubs and restaurants, so really focus on the glasses and a brew, rather than a souffle and four courses. 

If you have always had a hankering for the open road and rather wished you could get out of the fast lane, then get ready to experience the joyous burble from the engine as you bumble along the country roads.

If you want to go a bit more lux, there are ‘extras’ - from awnings, and B.B.Q’s to showers and sun canopies. This is a small, family-run business, for whom campers are a bit of a passion.

Get ready to be the envy of every campsite and don’t forget to take a playlist (or a guitar).

THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS

• The Classic Campers are available for hire from Friday 29th March until late October 2025
• Pick-up time is from 2-5pm and drop-off is at 10am. A specific time slot will be arranged a couple of days before your collection.
• Choose from 3 Nights - Friday to Monday OR 4 Nights - Monday to Friday.  This can be done when the voucher is redeemed.
• Hirers must be over 25 or under 70 years of age

HOW DOES IT WORK?

All you have to do is pay for the gift experience you wish to purchase. We’ll send a voucher including booking instructions to you or directly to the recipient.
