My husband and I recently embarked on the Tasty Asian Food Hunt in London, The Talisman Treats, and let me tell you, it was a culinary caper worthy of Indiana Jones….. If Indi had traded his whip for chopsticks, that is… Initially, deciphering the observational clues felt like trying to complete a puzzle blindfolded, but once we got the hang of it, we were off and running.

We couldn’t resist a couple of self-imposed pit stops at one, perhaps two (okay, maybe three) delightful boozers along the route. After all, some questions required serious contemplation, and what better place to ponder than the pub? These establishments provided the perfect environment to sit down and think, or was it drink? Either way, they were integral to our treasure-hunting strategy.

The food we (eventually) found was brilliant. We stumbled upon charming little spots we might never have discovered otherwise, each offering a unique taste of the orient. While the challenges could have been more demanding, it struck a balance that now has us eager to try another maze and perhaps involve our kids in the next adventure. We’re eyeing the dessert-themed hunt for them.

This experience treated us to an entertaining journey through a fantastic city but also time to giggle, chat and just catch up properly. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a flavourful fusion of fun and exploration. This is a great gift for couples or your other half seeking a twist on the standard day date.
