Embrace those imperfections with a golden repair. WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? Learn how to mend once loved china and earthenware in this mindful introduction to the Kintsugi method. The visible repairs are seen as part of the history of an object, highlighting the cracks and symbolising fragility, strength and beauty. This golden repair is called Kintsugi. Kintsugi Workshop

WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS WORKSHOP? The idea of this workshop is to repair a loved item, joining together the fractures using the Japanese Kintsugi method - applying the resin glue to the broken sections and making it whole once more. The imperfections aren’t to be hidden but embraced! The Kintsugi method celebrates the beauty of the scars in an object and recognises that the history should be shown and not hidden. Choose your broken porcelain (vase, bowl, plate or cup), and be taken by our resident Indytute expert, step by step through the technique of mending each section piece by piece. This is very much a thoughtful and methodical process….not to be rushed, where each piece is applied and repaired carefully. THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS The Indytute will provide all the kit needed for this workshop: You can bring your own china but we can't guarantee it'll be finished on time as the process needs to be done with patience. Boutique Bowling for Two

Bowling just got a glow-up. Step into a neon-lit night of strikes, cocktails, and good vibes. WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?  For a start no more warm beer and sticky seats. Boutique Bowling is bowling with attitude, and then there's the lighting. The bar is lit by neon and the lanes look straight out of a music video. There are still ten pins and one ball, but it is a proper night out. This experience is for one game and you also get a drink to help you score that perfect game. If you don't manage to knock down any pins, it certainly helps your bruised ego to have a rather delicious mojito to hand. TELL ME MORE So whether you're a secret bowling wizard or just out for a friendly, this is a great night out. Let's face it, you don't need any special skills. Even if you've never played a game before, you can pick up a ball and the worst that can happen is to send it faltering into the gutter, or best of all, get a strike first go. Hearing those pins tumble - now that's a buzz. So hit the lanes; it's the best way to catch up with mates, and an excellent first date. Grab your favourite friend, pick up a ball and aim straight down the middle.S-T-R-I-K-E!   THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS Location: London Available Sunday to Thursday during term time from 10am Under 18's can visit before 7pm and must be accompanied by an adult HOW DOES IT WORK?
