For a start, it's a great night out. The venues are as sleek as the tables. This is a fast-paced game, and as the pucks start striking, you know you're in for a competitive evening. The beauty of this experience is that it's perfect for everyone. Newbies can pick it up in minutes, while the more competitive among you can dive straight into the strategy. It's all about the grip and stance.

Not so much shoving as a smooth, fluid motion. This helps guide the puck's speed and direction. Then there's the blocking and knocking. You really do want to block your opponent's shots or knock their pucks out of the scoring position. To put it simply, there may be no complicated rules, but a bit of consistent practice doesn't go amiss.

The venues have some great bars and snacks. You need to keep well hydrated. This experience is for up to 6 people and lasts an hour, and there are several locations to choose from. Staff are on hand to run you through all the basics, so you can hit the board running.
