    RATED 4.9 ACROSS 1,900 REVIEWS

Don't just take our word for it! We're rated 4.9 with over 1,900 reviews!

This ghost tour London is one spooktacular ride and not for the fainthearted. In fact, we dare you to take part in this deliciously horrible tour of haunted London.

WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

This ghost tour London experience is by foot and also on water. Luckily you are safe aboard a catamaran as you cruise down the Thames. Seeing London from the water is always exciting, but in the dead of night.  Please be aware of the ghouls that lurk in the deep.

Walk through dimly lit parks, and watch out for the phantom fiddler of Green Park. Is that the cursed pig tree we just passed?  Feeling a bit jittery yet?  Well tense up for a stop at some of London’s most haunted buildings… better keep a watch out.

No ghost tour of haunted London would be complete without The Tower of London in the mix. Tales of executions and ghost bears will make your blood run cold. To keep you alert there will be some devilishly dark quizzes.

Better take a friend to hold your hand….or maybe a few. Safety in numbers.

Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

Film Lovers, Art Deco, Independent Cinema Experience for Two

Go where cinema first began. Velvet chairs, gold coat hooks, and a working Compton cinema organ.  WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? Right in the heart of London, over 120 years ago, the Lumière Brothers unveiled their Cinematographe machine, kickstarting the film industry; This was the first cinema to open its doors to the paying public, charging 54 people a shilling each to watch the 40 second clip. Regent Street cinema, the iconic cinema where this event occurred, was restored to its stunning Art Deco glory in 2015. Today, the cinema is run by a team of independent film lovers, who make sure that every film counts. From the best blockbusters to the most exciting independent and foreign-language films, the main criterion is that whatever is shown on the screen must transport you to another place. Their programme covers every genre. So whether it’s Gladiator II, A Man for all Seasons or It’s a Wonderful Life, you can settle in and fall in love with cinema all over again. TELL ME MORE Regent Street Cinema screens films in digital 4K with 7.1 surround sound in the Art Deco auditorium complete with velvet chairs, gold coat hooks, and an elliptical-coved ceiling—in other words, a proper old-fashioned cinema. This is one of the only cinemas in the country to have an original working Compton cinema organ; every first Monday of the month, there's a recital before the matinée screening, several times a year silent films are run, accompanied by the organ. It is a joy to listen to. This experience includes 2 film tickets, 2 house wines, beers, or soft drinks and 2 x Maize and Grace popcorn bags.  This is a London landmark. Whether you're a die-hard cinephile or just want to watch films in somewhere very special, Regent Street Cinema has got you covered. Kintsugi Workshop

Embrace those imperfections with a golden repair.   WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? Learn how to mend once loved china and earthenware in this mindful introduction to the Kintsugi method. The visible repairs are seen as part of the history of an object, highlighting the cracks and symbolising fragility, strength and beauty. This golden repair is called Kintsugi.   WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS WORKSHOP?   The idea of this workshop is to repair a loved item, joining together the fractures using the Japanese Kintsugi method - applying the resin glue to the broken sections and making it whole once more. The imperfections aren’t to be hidden but embraced! The Kintsugi method celebrates the beauty of the scars in an object and recognises that the history should be shown and not hidden. Choose your broken porcelain (vase, bowl, plate or cup), and be taken by our resident Indytute expert, step by step through the technique of mending each section piece by piece. This is very much a thoughtful and methodical process….not to be rushed, where each piece is applied and repaired carefully. THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS The Indytute will provide all the kit needed for this workshop: You can bring your own china but we can't guarantee it'll be finished on time as the process needs to be done with patience. The class is two hours and runs monthly on Saturdays and Tuesday or Thursday evening. Location is Kensal Rise (a couple of stops from Paddington).
