Time to reinvent tea time, and with it some preconceived ideas about who drinks it, and when. This is an afternoon tea designed with men in mind.

Forget finger sandwiches, string quartets and chintzy dining rooms. This tea is served in the Shakudo restaurant or the Wild Heart Bar of the Sanctum Soho Hotel. It’s the epitome of cool. Here you can sit and give full concentration to the beef sliders and vegetable gyoza, for as this is a tea with a distinctly Japanese slant. Did we mention the warm scones and yuzu curd? Tea with an attitude.
