    RATED 4.9 ACROSS 1,900 REVIEWS

Don't just take our word for it! We're rated 4.9 with over 1,900 reviews!

Eat your way through 4 delicious courses...on a bus. This day date will take you out on the town. For two people.

WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Bus and gourmet - two words you never thought you would hear together, but the brains behind 'Bustronome' have achieved the impossible. Fine dining on board a bus. The bus seats 38 people, and takes you on a tour of London’s iconic sights, while you eat food, that frankly you would be pleased to sample at any of the top hotels. Cheffy preps downstairs, while you sit upstairs, in your own booth, absorbing the sights through the panoramic glass windows. The lighting is low, the music moody and the busboys adept at handing out the champagne.

TELL ME MORE

Expect to eat your way through every one of the four delicious courses. Think Scallop carpaccio with pea shoots, languishing in a fennel vinaigrette or soup de champignon topped with a feather-light whipped cream that has just glanced at a truffle. The glasses sparkle, the wine is frankly fabulous and just in case you were worried you might lose a knife under the seat, don’t be. The plate is - wait for it - magnetic, so cutlery rests just where it is supposed to.

Every place setting includes a small ‘wand’ so if the mood takes and you really think that you would like to know something about the sights as you pass then the little gadget will fill you with information.

Even the most jaded Londoner could come away with a new insight into the tourist attractions that they have taken for granted for years.

So the lesson from this is... be prepared to love the bus, and love London. Don’t think this is just for the tourists either. Obviously, if you’re new to London then it ticks all the boxes, but if you want an adventure that literally takes you out ‘on the town’, you seriously couldn’t do better.

We tend to walk past, seeing these magnificent buildings as just part of the landscape, but Kensington Palace sets the tone for the whole of Kensington Gardens. Wherever you walk in the public gardens, the Palace catches your eye from every path. In fact, it is not unusual to see a helicopter land in the 'back garden', delivering the great and good securely home. The birthplace of Queen Victoria, it was once a small, suburban villa, known as Nottingham House, a country retreat. Buckingham Palace and Westminster were both powered by Battersea. It is an iconic London landmark, and the famous chimneys ensured that it became a listed building. Indeed, there was a time when Londoners thought it would never get built, but after a few false starts it did, and Battersea Power Station has become London's newest cool shopping and eating destination. In 2014, the famous chimneys were dismantled, but they had to be rebuilt to the precise specifications of the original. Kintsugi Workshop

A hands-on workshop where you'll be guided step by step on how to repair broken china using golden resin...   WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? Learn how to mend once loved china and earthenware in this mindful introduction to the Kintsugi method. The visible repairs are seen as part of the history of an object, highlighting the cracks and symbolising fragility, strength and beauty. This golden repair is called Kintsugi.   WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS WORKSHOP?   The idea of this workshop is to repair a loved item, joining together the fractures using the Japanese Kintsugi method - applying the resin glue to the broken sections and making it whole once more. The imperfections aren’t to be hidden but embraced! The Kintsugi method celebrates the beauty of the scars in an object and recognises that the history should be shown and not hidden.
