Grown by Gusbourne, guided by nature is the mantra and philosophy behind this award-winning vineyard.
The vineyards are the heart of Gusbourne, an estate in the Kent countryside, an hour from London.
Here, pruning is an artform, judging the weather second nature. The land is managed by sustainable practices; Gusbourne is alive with native flora and fauna, the air filled with birdsong, and the grapes - well, the grapes are simply delicious.

What better way to pass a day than in the vineyard, taking a guided tour of the estate? On arrival, a glass of chilled sparkling wine will be pressed into your hand, then after introductions, a Gusbourne host will take you on a leisurely stroll around the estate. You will hear insights into how the fruit is grown and how the wine is made - questions are expected.
On return, you will be given a tasting from a selection of their most important and classic wines. These bottles showcase the vineyard and the breadth of expertise that goes into every bottle.
This part of the tour takes place in the very modern and rather fabulous tasting area called 'The Nest', where you will also be having lunch.
There will be a seasonal, three-course lunch, paired with wines. Every Gusbourne wine tells a unique story. It is their uncompromising attention to detail that takes these wines into an award-winning class.

Food atmosphere and service was all fantastic. We had so much to eat and they kept offering more. The tea was amazing too so many different choices.
Given as a gift for a special birthday. The hotel was amazing - it was luxurious, ultra comfortable and the location by the water was perfect. The room was spacious, with its own small balcony from which the O2 and Cable Car were seen. Afternoon tea was delicious - the only downside was that our waitress was very slow and also a bit forgetful as we had to ask several times for the accompanying beverage!
Our experience at the Palm Court for the ‘Afternoon Tea’ was divine, a calm atmosphere coupled by friendly service by all staff particularly ‘Kim & Efrey’. We arrived to the location earlier and kindly escorted to our table where we could explore the menu & unwind. The cutlery was immaculate served in Silver Wear, ‘Kim’ explained each tier as vegetarians my Mum & I had a variety of fresh sandwiches. The scones were warmly kept in a cotton bag and throughout our Tea we were acknowledg...
We organised this as a surprise for a friend’s birthday. It was brilliant fun- nice and relaxed- the time flew by and we made some beautiful pots. Huge thanks to Francesca was a wonderful host and teacher.
