Maximizing Your Experience Gift: Tips and Tricks
Ispend a ridiculous amount of my waking hours thinking about the process of gifting. From gift cards to making a last minute e-voucher thoughtful. Now you might have thought once I had sold you an experience I would dash off into the sunset, giving the day job no further thought. Wrong!
It occurred to me recently that I have never given out any pointers on how to get the most out of your present. On the surface it all seems ever so obvious, but sometimes it’s the very obvious stuff that gets forgotten. So at the risk of seeming patronising here you go 🙂
Don't forget to book in!
There you are - obvious - but we are all busy and it’s easy to forget.
It's very easy, just head to redeem.indytute.com and follow the instructions. All are written clearly on the bottom of your gift voucher.
Take a mate
Shared joy. Having a friend along changes the dynamic and makes the day.
Go prepared
A moment thinking and reading about where you’re off to is a really good idea. You could need a bag to take home the pottery you’ve made, or a pair of wellies if you plan to forage in the countryside, or maybe get your nails painted just before your paddleboard yoga session ;) Just a second’s worth of thought is all it takes.
Ask away
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s easy to hang about at the back, and leave cross that you didn’t put your hand up. Like school really. Our experiences are run by individuals who really know about their subject so ask away.
Reflect on the day
Mindful Memories. Think back on what you’ve seen or done. It makes such a difference rather than moving straight onto the next new thing.
From wheel throwing and pottery in Brighton to an inland surfing adventure at The Wave in Bristol
Spread the happiness
If you had a good time, tell someone else. An experience is just that, and how the best memories are made.
and spread the word...
Most of our experiences are very personal, run by individuals with a passion for their craft. If you had a good time, please write a review. It seems like reviews are everywhere, but they help others decide if they would like to go, so it’s very useful.
