WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
If you’re a fan of craft beers, and you live in the Brighton area, the ‘UnBarred Brewery and Taproom’ is the destination. The business started, as brewing often does, in a shed. Head brewer, Jordan Mower, is a man who lives, breathes and dreams about hops and malts. His passion paid off, winning awards during the first year of production. That was ten years ago, and the adventure continues as the core range is now stocked nationwide, alongside limited editions and exclusive beers which you will only find when you visit the brewery.
The Taproom is the perfect place for a tasting. For a glorious 1.5 hours you will be tasting beer. 5 beers to be precise, each with their own unique flavour. These have been selected from a total of 43 different beers, brewed by the team last year. There will be a guided talk as you discover tasting techniques and beer styles, alongside the UnBarred story. Taste experimental keg beers, contemporary cask ales and everything in between.
There’s a lot to cheer about at Unbarred - not least the carry out can packaging, also in a class of its own, with local artists playing their part.
