WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
If you thought the East End was all about a Ruby Murray, go and have a butcher's at the markets around Spitalfields and Brick Lane. The Romans, Dutch, Portuguese, Jews and Bangladeshis are among the various immigrants who settled in this part of town and left behind a history of delicious foods. Try eels, beigels, pie and mash, and fish and chips, washed down with cup of Rosy Lee, while learning about the cultural history behind the recipes.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS EXPERIENCE?
On this gastronomical history tour of the East End, you'll learn the origins and history behind the staples of British cuisine. The ticket price includes coffee at one of London's best coffee houses and a delicious beigel, plus the chance to taste a number of other East End favourites. All you need bring is a good pair of comfy walking shoes and a thirst for knowledge.

Each tour caters a maximum of 14 people. The tour begins at Liverpool Street Station. Tours are run weekly on Sundays between 11am -1pm.
