WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? 


Eric Lanlard is an award-winning pastry chef, who honed his skills working for Albert and Michel Roux. He is renowned for his desserts, cakes and afternoon teas. He is also the owner of 'Cake Boy', a baking school in central London, which is where you will be learning to bake under the guidance of this culinary pastry guru.

Your day will start with breakfast, and then it's aprons on as you learn to bake with Eric, who will be sharing his secrets, tips and an anecdote or two. Classes are small, so it's very hands-on, and with only 6 students per class you will be receiving a lot of personal attention. A late lunch is also on the menu, giving you the chance to get to know your fellow bakers.

At the end of the day, you will box up your creations to take away with you. There are usually three recipes for you to tackle, so unless you have a moment and break into the box on the way, there should be lots to share when you get home.

It's all very delicious, and gives you an insight into the world of patisserie. Eric is not known as 'The King of Cakes' for nothing. He is a brilliant teacher, and passes on his skills with ease. Expect to get a huge amount out of it - including cake.
