60 minute session, that introduces you to the pleasure of creating soy wax candles.
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
We are the candle capital of the world - just ask Selfridges who sell an astonishing amount of designer candles - but as everyone knows there are candles and there are candles. Too strong a scent with low grade oils can have you and your guests spluttering and gasping for air.
The way forward is soy wax. Eco right down to the end of the wick. Dai-KOR creates luxury statement candles, exquisitely scented to enhance your mood. Their collection is filled with candles as ‘art’. Knots marbled like beach pebbles, ‘body’ candles speckled with gold leaf that perfumes the air with the light scent of afternoon tea, or cut glass jars that twinkle as the wax burns down at a very s-l-o-w rate.

Learning how to make candles is a rather delicious pastime. This class takes place in Shoreditch and lasts for 60 zen minutes.
While you eat a sweet treat your candle guru will take you through the skill involved in the pour and scent. Crumbs aside, you will now set to and create your own 6-ouncer.
You will have to wait to light your candle. It will be posted out to you (you will have made your own personal label, so there is no chance of getting anyone else's), which really is a treat worth waiting for.
