If you have a glam whisky library as an integral part of your restaurant, it would seem churlish not to run a whisky tasting. La Bibliothèque takes whisky very seriously, and this tasting is run in close collaboration with one of Japan’s most renowned and famous whisky distilleries—Nikka. As this evening also includes a food pairing, you can expect some delicious Japanese delicacies created by the Head Chef at La Bibliothèque.
A Nikka Yoichi Single Malt paired with teriyaki pork belly? Hmmmmm.

You will be taken on a journey through the Nikka Distillery, tasting four of the distillery's most famous releases. At the same time, four food pairings will appear, showing just how brilliantly well food and whisky can complement each other.
This is a world whisky journey that’s in a class of its own.

I had a great time. This was my first ever attempt at using a pottery wheel. The instructor was very kind and patient and willing to let me try all the steps myself. Highly recommend!
An ideal venue a short walk fro the railway station. IMO there was way too much talking from the compere, which meant I had to miss half of the main act to get my last train home. That was a real shame as he was the best of the night by far
