WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Detox for your hair. If your hair is looking great then the day just got better. Over time hair products build up and cling to your hair. So instead of suffocating your follicles why not give them a bit of Wabi. Wabi products are inspired by the ancient Japanese wisdom of wabi-sabi (say it quickly it becomes a tongue twister). The Japanese understand the connection between skin and stress - If you want to discover peace and beauty try and find the time to pop over to Japan and visit an ‘Onsen’, where bathing is so much more than getting a quick clean. Take a Wabi Shampoo bar with you - one less worry about liquids when you travel. Nearer to home you can learn how to make Wabi skincare, using carefully picked ingredients that are not only natural but really work to nourish and cleanse.
WHAT WILL I BE LEARNING?
In this 1.5-2 hour workshop, you are going to learn how to make shampoo bars using coconut milk and jojoba oil to create unscented bars that produce a silky, thick lather to clean and feed.
The founder of Wabi, Sarah Pouros, will guide you through the process and explain the recipe. Once poured the bars take a day to set, then they are left to cure for 30 days in the studio, after which 6 lovely shampoo blocks will be posted out to you. A whole new way to care for your hair. Wabi products are not stocked in London, so if you want to discover the benefits there really is only way - MAKE THEM.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
This 1.5-2 hour workshop is intimate and has a maximum of 5 people per class. The workshop is based in Tottenham Hale and must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
