It's time for an afternoon tea time treat at Rails restaurant located in the Great Northern Hotel. Inspired by the iconic railways of the UK, the tea takes you on a culinary journey featuring regional delights from across the country.
Yorkshire Parkin (a form of gingerbread), Cranachan choix buns, and Millionaire shortbread are all on the menu. Another immersive experience - the romance of travel but without any of the hassle.

We were given this trip up the Shard followed by dinner at the London Steakhouse as a gift, and really enjoyed this special experience! When booking, we selected our time so that we could go up the Shard an hour before sunset, and stayed for about two hours so that we saw the views in daylight and after dark - both were stunning! I've had a great time doing the Kintsugi Workshop. I learnt new skills and it was really relaxing to stop and be more present in the moment!
Everything was perfect from the start and delivered on all levels, including the help to book the trip via Indytute (big shout out to Helen who quickly resolved my booking problem) down to the day itself. A delightful experience and something a bit different to the norm. Great location and delicious cheese and wine. Barge staff were really friendly and helpful. No negatives and shall definitely be returning.
Such a wonderful experience, my girlfriend and I loved every minute of this experience from touring Windsor Castle to the delicious afternoon tea at the Clarence tea room.
