First choose a pre-loved plate or teacup from The Indytute’s very special vintage china collection. Each piece has been rooted out by The Indytute china scout, who has scoured garage sales, antique stalls and junk shops to select the ideal pieces to upcycle. Ideal for a girls’ afternoon or the perfect antidote to a stressful day.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS WORKSHOP?
The idea of this workshop is to make your plate cool and turn it into the kind of plate you might spot in a designer store. Using the Indytute’s own designs, you will create your own special work of art. These plates make great presents, but they also make a shelf very happy.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
The Indytute will provide all the kit needed for this workshop: plates, decals, scissors, glue, sponges and the very vital up cycling expert to help you create a plate. Simple yet utterly satisfying. Classes run bi-monthly on Saturdays and some weeknight evenings and last 90 minutes in Kensal Rise.Venue will be confirmed on booking. This is a gift experience for two people.
