WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Wine lovers can enjoy a relaxed day exploring the beautiful Chapel Down Vineyard, discovering how its award-winning wines are made along the way. The experience begins with a guided tour of the vineyard, delving into its history and the winemaking process with knowledgeable experts on hand to share the stories behind the bottles.
Then comes the best bit: a tasting of six carefully selected wines for two people. From crisp whites to fuller-bodied reds, each one offers something different, with guidance on the flavours, aromas and characteristics to look out for.
TELL ME MORE
There’s plenty of countryside to admire too, with sweeping vineyard views providing an appropriately scenic backdrop to the tasting. And if a particular bottle proves too tempting to leave behind, there’s the chance to purchase wines to enjoy at home.
A lovely choice for two wine enthusiasts, whether celebrating a special occasion or simply making a day of it.

Bought for us as birthday gift. Tour group very big, moving around vineyard before ones at rear could see or hear commentator. Wine tasting , although generous, was rushed and no nibbles served whatsoever as supposed to be to help soak up alcohol. Wine expensive to buy.
Brief sighting of vines. No info re wine making Tiny samples to taste. Lots of extravagant claims about high priced mediocre wines Followed by invitation to purchase.
