The session focuses on how iconic street food comes together, from building layers of spice to achieving the right balance of texture and heat. The menu takes inspiration from bustling food stalls across Asia, North Africa and beyond, featuring colourful plates packed with aroma and punchy flavour. Participants will prepare a selection of vibrant dishes using fresh ingredients, guided step by step by an experienced cookery tutor. Expect plenty of hands on cooking, tasting throughout and clear explanations that make each technique easy to understand. The experience leaves everyone well equipped to recreate exciting street style food at home with confidence and flair.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
The experience takes place at Smart School of Cookery's kitchen in Chelmsford, Essex and lasts for approximately 2 hours. All ingredients, equipment and expert instruction are included. The class is interactive, relaxed, suitable for all skill levels and available for one or two people. Comfortable clothing and closed shoes are recommended. Recipes are provided to take away.

First of all the venue is jaw dropping beautiful, staff very attentive and friendly to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. The afternoon tea was exceptional, presenting the food fabulously and tastes delicious. Would recommend for a special occasion with a date or take a mate for great experience.

The Urban photography with James was a birthday present from my wife, all communications with Claire via Indytute were spot on and the meet was on time. James is a skilled photographer and all round nice chap who was able to communicate to the array of clients with varying skills, ages and equipment. We really enjoyed the park lane afternoon tea, we have been to a few and this was one of the best. We don't like the posh stuffy hotels and preferred the more relaxed feel to this hotel, jeans were allowed (no trainers). The sandwiches and scones were very generous, the waiters continually topped them up without having to ask, same with the pots of tea. Overall a lovely afternoon.
Fab hotel to stay. Food was delicious. Service from the staff was exceptional. Drink prices were extortionate. Very very clean. Easy access.
