One for the fun-guy. Introducing your new buddy! If you can grow your own mushrooms the world is your Oyster.

Now here at Indytute we love a succulent as much as the next man, but we also like to surprise our kitchen, and there is nothing more surprising than these totally edible (in fact deliciously edible) pastel coloured, oyster mushrooms, prepared on a family-run farm in Somerset. This is the mushroom to enliven any risotto, even more thrilling, you grew them yourself.

Everything you need to grow these little beauties is in the bag. They should start to fruit after about five days and then with a little misting (bottle supplied) you can practically watch them grow - and the bag is their home until you decide to eat them. The best time to cut them is when the caps open and flatten out, but it’s not over yet. Look out for a second or even third flush.

Give them names, colour coordinate them to match your tea towels, send to a friend. How mush-fun is that?!
