Join Sonia, owner and head baker at Mamars in the North West of England, for a comprehensive sourdough baking masterclass designed to take your bread-making skills to the next level.
Whether you've already baked a few loaves and want to perfect your technique, or you're a passionate home baker keen to understand the science behind great sourdough, this hands-on workshop will guide you through every stage of the process.
You'll delve into the finer details of fermentation, hydration, shaping, scoring and baking, learning how small adjustments can transform the texture, flavour and appearance of your bread. Sonia will share the knowledge and techniques she uses in her bakery, helping you troubleshoot common issues and build confidence in your baking.
Throughout the session you'll work with dough, discuss the role of starter maintenance, and gain a deeper understanding of how to consistently achieve excellent results at home.

We had a great time making origami - it even inspired me to make 60 origami butterflies for my wedding. A very chilled evening out with some sake and paper folding :) perfect for people who'd like to go for a night at the pub but find sitting around with a pint just a little bit boring...
Fantastic tour, brilliant wine, beautiful scenery. Offvine took us to 3 lovely, unique vineyards - it was such a convenient and easy way to explore the variety of wineries Kent has to offer. The staff at each were very helpful and informative. A fabulous day out! Would definitely do it again.
I bought this workshop as a birthday present for a friend and it was such a fun afternoon. Claire was very helpful with telling us all we needed to know to make our own soaps. A great gift (where you end up with more gifts to give away!).

This was a superb experience. John is not only a very highly skilled player, he is also a very capable and approachable teacher and very knowledgeable about the blues. You don't need to be a complete guitar wizard to get benefit from this course, just a basic working knowledge of your way round a guitar and some open chords and one simple scale. In one afternoon, I picked up a load of useful tips and tricks of the trade. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. A great day!
What a great Mother's Day gift - sketching and painting with live, flying about, posing and very amusing parrots. What beautiful colours! Really enjoyable couple of hours.
