Get up close and personal and learn about London’s gin-soaked past while getting some pretty serious tasting skills from the master gin blenders at Sipsmith. Not content with just polishing their coppers, they decided to name them. So start by meeting Prudence, Patience and Verity who work their copper socks off to deliver some of the most delectable gins in London (and that takes some doing these days). Think Lemon Drizzle Gin, Sloe Gin and their award-winning London Cup, infused with Earl Grey tea, borage, and lemon verbena.

Your tour of the Sipsmith Distillery starts off in the right direction with a ginny tipple, so you can embrace the mood from the start. This is serious stuff and Sipsmith are the first traditional copper distillery to have opened in London since 1820. If you thought London was a dry sort of a place, you really don’t understand the word until you sample the ’Classic London’ . Made in small delicious batches by craftsman with a passion for the clear stuff. Constance, the largest of the copper ladies produces this one, but go and meet her for yourself, and enjoy some very sippable spirits, alongside a tutored tasting.

This gin experience runs at Sipsmith's distillery in Chiswick. Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays and the occasional Tuesday at 6.30 - 8pm.  The occasional Friday at 4.30 - 6.30
