Each tour caters a maximum of 10 people and happens a couple of times a year on a Saturday. You’ll be strolling for a chilled two hours around locations in Central London. Get ready to rock ‘n stroll with the man, and leave with a signed copy of John’s solo CD - Sly Guitar.

What a delight .John shares his intimate memories of his gigs in London and we visited the iconic venues of my youth and some only read about not seen. A really interesting 2-3 hours and set at a comfortable pace for all. Fascinating photo references. Really well presented. Indytute also extremely efficient and helpful in the booking process. Highly recommended both the tour and the organisation.
A really interesting tour of London with lots of great personal anecdotes to bring the whole thing to life -- from someone (John Ellis) who was actually there and lived the events, rather than just a tour guide pointing out buildings where various recordings and concerts took place.
A great day out, with John infectious knowledge, discover many things that have always been in front of your nose I guess no two tours are the same, each in part dependant on the group members own experiences and musical taste. Discover Londons musical treasures, whilst guided by another.

This was an enjoyable easy going stroll through cental London focusing on history of rock, punk, blues and folk music which arose in the city and some London history itself. John shared his knowledge of the bands and artists he worked with and events that shaped the music scene. During the walk/ talk we visited the sites of popular gig venues recording studios and locations of album cover images. John was knowledgeable, good to talk to and brought out the nostalgia and vibrancy of the rock punk...
