WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
In this experience, you will learn the basics of SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding). Your SUP guide will show you how to paddle, steer, stand up, and get back down again—basically mastering the essentials that will make you fall in love with the fastest-growing water sport in the world. This is a full introduction to SUP, covering water safety and basic paddle techniques.

Launching from The Eyot Centre, close to Henley Bridge and the town centre, and just a 10-minute walk from Henley Station, you’ll enjoy a 90-minute session. This will include instruction and a short tour, heading off under Henley Bridge with views of the old market town and the surrounding countryside.
While this may not be a first-date experience, nothing cements a relationship like a shared hobby. Expect herons, rowers, and even the odd kingfisher.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
Sessions operate Tuesday–Sunday from May (earlier if weather and river conditions allow) through September. Other venues include Wargrave, Maidenhead, and Reading—please specify your preference when booking (sessions at these venues are less frequent).
