WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Pottery is having something of a renaissance in the home. And so it should. Art created from a lump of moist clay, fashioned on a wheel to produce something totally unique to the potter who made it. Truly no two pots will ever be the same. We don’t like to overuse the word mindful, but this is a craft where you can find the hours passing without thought as you tune into the clay.
YOUR POTTERY EXPERIENCE
This experience takes place in an inspiring, modern space designed to reveal the potter within. Filled with light it is an oasis of calm in central London. The classes are small and intimate, the teaching studio is private, but resident potters and members are all around, working alongside each other, sharing their passion for ceramics.
Tuition is all as you will be carefully guided through the process and is suitable for all levels. Learn how to control the wheel, prepare a wedge, and attempt to master the technique of ‘pulling’.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
You will throw multiple pots, and then choose one for firing and glazing, which can be collected at a later date. Be prepared to become wheely - addicted. One pot is never enough.
Bring a friend by selecting another person in 'options'.
included in your purchase is access to a talk at the studio.
