La Bibliothèque is a boutique hotel (yes you could stay the night…) located in Hackney. With its first venue, whisky and cocktail bar MAP Maison, two doors down, you don’t have to walk far for a nightcap.
It’s chic, modern, lux. The staff are committed to your wellbeing and provide seamless attention. Customer service is nothing short of brilliant.
The restaurant design reflects the name - leather banquettes, tub chairs, wood parquet and books provide a look that is cool, dark and moody.

America and Nick were fabulous hosts, very informative about the vineyard and wine production. We enjoyed trying the four wines, we also got a small mouthful of other wines as we then bought six bottles. The glamping tent was well thought out, and the duvet was lovely and warm. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind and we had strong winds and rain, but still enjoyed our stay.
The day began well, my wife has current mobility issues, as we walked very slowly from the car park to the palace the young female driver of the courtesy transit from the bus stop pulled up, unrequested and offered us a lift. A wonderful gesture, greatly appreciated. That set the tone for the rest of the day, we were delighted

A wonderful experience and introduction to the art of kintsugi - clear guidance from the teacher and lots of help through the steps.
Origami Wonderland was fantastic! Very therapeutic activity and Toshi the instructor with a great sense of humour and made the entire experience very fun. I'd recommend for a creative day out that leaves you feeling accomplished.
