Join Sonia, owner and head baker at Mamars in the North West of England, for a comprehensive sourdough baking masterclass designed to take your bread-making skills to the next level.
Whether you've already baked a few loaves and want to perfect your technique, or you're a passionate home baker keen to understand the science behind great sourdough, this hands-on workshop will guide you through every stage of the process.
You'll delve into the finer details of fermentation, hydration, shaping, scoring and baking, learning how small adjustments can transform the texture, flavour and appearance of your bread. Sonia will share the knowledge and techniques she uses in her bakery, helping you troubleshoot common issues and build confidence in your baking.
Throughout the session you'll work with dough, discuss the role of starter maintenance, and gain a deeper understanding of how to consistently achieve excellent results at home.

What a lovely day out. Woodstock is a small market town right by Blenheim Palace. We had a very pleasant lunch at The Crown. Service was excellent, food very good and set us up nicely for an afternoon at Blenheim Palace. Parking is very limited in Woodstock, but we managed to get a spot in a free car park in Union Street Car Park, just off Hensington Road. Blenheim Palace was wonderful, what a place. First of all the venue is jaw dropping beautiful, staff very attentive and friendly to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. The afternoon tea was exceptional, presenting the food fabulously and tastes delicious. Would recommend for a special occasion with a date or take a mate for great experience.
