WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Tinctures, creams and herbal remedies. London is really just a glorious medicine cabinet growing at your feet. This walk lasts about three hours, during which time you will be sampling various leaves, flowers, shoots and berries as well as trying out the various tinctures and creams that were picked and prepared earlier.
Learn to identify plenty of common wild plants, as well as discussing numerous topics, from botany and nutrition to herbal medicine.
Lee Latham is a forager and medicinal herbalist. He spent four years studying herbal medicine at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. He teaches botany, plant identification and phytochemistry to herbal medical students, as well as running this ‘Wild Medicine’ walk.
If you would like to replace the traditional first aid kit, with a foraged version this walk is an excellent place to begin the journey.

We went to the cheese barge in August after I bought the experience for my husband’s birthday in March. To say it was brilliant is an under statement as it was way beyond brilliant. From the location to the cheese, wine plus the service and then the walk along the canal afterwards…well it was all so brilliant that it has now become a Christmas gift for another family member. A real twist on the ‘afternoon tea’ and just so enjoyable…and, oh, did I say the cheeses were pretty delicious too!

Went for a Japanese Afternoon Tea with my 23 year old son. Staff were wonderful, attentive and friendly. The food was great and fantastic presentation. It was a real treat. Hotel is very quirky with very cool decorative furniture and art.

Had a great time at the workshop!! Claire is an amazing teacher and is good at guiding the class!! There were loads of options for decorating my plate and the instructions were simple to follow. I also have a fantastic plate to show for it. It's a great time to spend with your friends or family or just make new friends while you're there. I would definitely recommend it!

Loved the sensory experience of combining, scent, colour and form. Thank you for a lovely relaxing afternoon. Great to learn a new craft. Claire was very welcoming and friendly.

What a relaxing morning learning a new skill with friends. Thank you for the tuition and tea and biscuits :)

I have taken a star off for the venue as the Palm Court is not wheelchair accessible - indeed getting in to the hotel at all required a staff member going to get a ramp and us entering through the bar in a confined space. That aside, the experience was wonderful. Staff make a real effort to turn it into an experience describing the menu - both food and drinks - and making sure that a birthday among our party was acknowledged (pianist playing Happy Birthday and a special dessert), Special "Seaso...
