WHAT'S THIS ALL  ABOUT?

Chinatown is not for the faint hearted. It comprises of just a couple of streets. Windows are filled with roast ducks, lanterns hang from the doorways and chairs are dotted up the street with masseurs vying to sort out your shoulders. As you walk under the Chinatown arch past street artists and glance into the exotic grocery stores you are hit with a serious dilemma. Which restaurant is worth visiting and which is just a tourist trap. Get it right and you enter chopstick heaven. Get it wrong and the experience can be very underwhelming.

This is where the Dim Sum tour comes into its own. You will be taken to some of the best dumpling bars in the area. Expect to lift the lid on wicker baskets filled with specially chosen dumplings and Dim Sum, while sipping on hot green tea. This is how to find the authentic spots, that will set you on the path to tasting Cantonese treats, just like a local.

After you have chopsticked your way through Chinatown, you will end the tour with a palate cleanser at a distinctly cool bar where you can talk all things Dim Sum with your new foodie friends.
