WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Cider has been growing in popularity, in fact it’s not far off to say the world is on the cusp of a cider revolution.  Leading the charge is Gabe, a cider expert or as they call her in the trade a Ciderologist. Gabe has been working with fermented apples for over 15 years, working with small farmhouse makers  as well as huge companies.

Join her for a cider cruise up the Thames, setting off from Lambeth Pier for a 2.5 hr boat trip. Her cohort on the adventure is Sam Nightingale, of Nightingale Cider. His company has been producing award winning Kentish ciders and perries from his orchards in Tenterden.

What started as a hobby has become a love affair with the golden liquid.

You will learn all about the process and what makes the cider unique, as you cruise past some of London’s most iconic buildings.

Don’t you dare call it ‘scrumpy’ .

THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS

Taking place aboard the Viscountess a beautiful period river cruiser, and our route will take in iconic sites along the River Thames, from The Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge to the O2 Arena. There will be talks and tastings happening throughout your 2.5 - hour experience. 

The boats departs from Lambeth Pier  and the nearest stations are Westminster, Southwark and Lambeth North .

Your ticket to this floating cider festival includes your first six drinks on board in a souvenir tasting glass. The glass is yours to take home when you disembark. 

You’ll be able to purchase further drinks on board via contactless payment only.
