WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
A perfect class to introduce you to the world of print. A calming and very satisfying experience, and rather more sophisticated than it might first appear. If it was good enough for Picasso, Matisse, and Kandinsky, that tells you quite a lot about the process. In this class, you will be learning lino cutting and how to design, carve and print a linocut block, which you can use again and again for any home printing projects.

You are free to bring along sketches or design ideas for inspiration on the night. Templates will also be available, making the process even easier to learn. You can take home your completed prints, as well as your lino block, so you can keep on inking. The workshops are run by The Bristol Print Collective, whose members are artists brought together with a love for all things ink. It was founded by Jemma Gunning and Victoria Willmott, who met while studyingtheir Masters degree in Multidisciplinary Printmaking at Bristol University UWE Bristol. They discovered a shared interest—print workshops that can explore the medium without the need for bulky equipment, so classes can be enjoyed outside a formal studio setup.
The class lasts for an inky 3 hours.

Origami Wonderland was fantastic! Very therapeutic activity and Toshi the instructor with a great sense of humour and made the entire experience very fun. I'd recommend for a creative day out that leaves you feeling accomplished.

What a great Mother's Day gift - sketching and painting with live, flying about, posing and very amusing parrots. What beautiful colours! Really enjoyable couple of hours.
We organised this as a surprise for a friend’s birthday. It was brilliant fun- nice and relaxed- the time flew by and we made some beautiful pots. Huge thanks to Francesca was a wonderful host and teacher.
The day began well, my wife has current mobility issues, as we walked very slowly from the car park to the palace the young female driver of the courtesy transit from the bus stop pulled up, unrequested and offered us a lift. A wonderful gesture, greatly appreciated. That set the tone for the rest of the day, we were delighted
Great, fun class! Easy to make, cute items, with lovely, pretty paper used. Enjoyed myself and definitely something I'd recommend if you want to try something different of an evening!
