Explore royal masterpieces at The King’s Gallery, then enjoy a classic afternoon tea at The Clermont Hotel – a refined cultural escape in central London. Experience for two people.
WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
See changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection. The exhibitions feature old master paintings, rare furniture, decorative arts and images from a vast photographic collection. The King's Gallery is located by Buckingham Palace, on the old site of a private chapel for Queen Victoria, the original chapel was destroyed in an air raid in 1940, and the gallery was designed specifically to house the Royal Collection in 1962.
One of the world's largest and most important art collections, there are over a million objects, reflecting the personal tastes of British kings and queens over the past 500 years. It is one of the last great European royal collections to remain intact. A visual delight for anyone interested in the arts and royalty.
