WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Ever come up with a seemingly-brilliant idea for a book but haven’t a clue where to begin? Is there a rough draft but you need some rigorous feedback to get galvanised? You are suffering from a case of ‘writer’s block syndrome’.
Dr Matthew Green is a critically acclaimed, and best-selling author. This creative workshop will take place in the gorgeous library of a luxury hotel in Covent Garden where, over tea and coffee, your literary journey starts to take shape.
Matthew believes that it is usually a lack of confidence and motivation rather than an innate absence of talent that holds people back. In this workshop, he will listen to your vision, help develop your themes and characters, and even craft a winning proposal.
TELL ME MORE
This workshop is ideal for any kind of creative writing project whether you’re writing a novel, poem, love letter, obituary, libretto, a memoir or a work of popular history or science. It doesn’t matter whether your project is fairly advanced or if you’ve yet to put a single word on paper.
A broadcaster and prolific public speaker as well as an author, Dr Green is well versed in tailoring ideas for different audiences and the workshop is appropriate for anyone regardless of their age, talent or experience. All you need is a vision, sense of adventure, and a willingness to make mistakes.
If you already have a manuscript, then Dr Green would love to read it in advance, so he can provide lucid, laser-guided feedback in person. Alternatively, if it’s reasonably short, just bring it along.
The sessions last three hours with a break to sharpen your pencils, as you start to learn the pleasure that comes from a blank page.

It was every we expected .it was a 80th birthday present for my friend of 64yrs

I purchased this as a gift for my friends 40th and we had a great time! I could have spent all day upcycling china. Claire was a great host and help was on hand for any tricky bits! I would highly recommend this workshop.

Great fun day. Loads of attacking things with an angle grinder and bashing with hammers. What's not to love! It was superb change from my day-to-day sitting in front of a computer screen. And at the end, I have a fantastic firepit that burns anything and everything you put in it! Dead easy to light, very little smoke and ferociously hot - makes an excellent patio heater! My version even has some supports on the top for a bit of outdoor cooking. Perfect for a cast iron skillet.

Had a great time at cinnamon kitchen So much I have purchased another voucher for a return visit

America and Nick were fabulous hosts, very informative about the vineyard and wine production. We enjoyed trying the four wines, we also got a small mouthful of other wines as we then bought six bottles. The glamping tent was well thought out, and the duvet was lovely and warm. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind and we had strong winds and rain, but still enjoyed our stay.

The food was divine, the scones were fresh and warm in a cotton bag. We were shown how to fix the silver strainer to the cup. Our waiter, Paolo, was ever present if we wanted anything but invisible when we didn't. Just a truly amazing experience and worth every penny.
