WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT ?
It's not just about spraying a ‘tag’ onto a building. David aka Panda, a graffiti artist from Birmingham, is the man to introduce you to the art of letter design. He's been commissioned to urbanise some pretty amazing spaces, film sets, big walls and a load of bedrooms.
First off, you need to know how to create your own style, and also understand the Hip-Hop culture behind the art form. Using benign, child-safe paint pens, your journey begins on card.
TELL ME MORE
In case you think that's a bit tame for a graffiti experience, walls are involved. Of course, you will also be heading outside, equipped in protective overalls, mask and gloves, to tackle spray painting techniques and create your very own graffiti piece on the studio's 'personal' piece of masonry.
The session culminates when you design and bring to life a 50cm x 25cm canvas using paint pens. The work will dry instantly, and be yours to take home. This 2-hour workshop will leave you with a practical knowledge of graffiti artistry, its cultural context, and—it goes without saying, but we will say it anyway—it's MEGA fun

I was given this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and I, so we booked it for early January. We went on a Friday at 2pm and so it was quiet, and that was nice as I'd imagine it would be harder to enjoy if it was packed full of people. The staff were very lovely and attentive, and offered us refills not only for our drinks (champagne and tea) but also for our food (sandwiches, scones and pastries). This was lovely as it meant we not only had the first lot of food included with the voucher b...

The food was divine, the scones were fresh and warm in a cotton bag. We were shown how to fix the silver strainer to the cup. Our waiter, Paolo, was ever present if we wanted anything but invisible when we didn't. Just a truly amazing experience and worth every penny.

My husband and I had afternoon tea here which was a wedding present to us. The venue was stunning and the ambience was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Mahmut explained the different options so it was very clear. You get a free glass of champagne and we were given Moët. The food was lovely. Very tasty and was endless. Would definitely recommend

We were four - Phoebe and Alison, who kind of knew their way around a dance-floor and Jack and myself. I'm not a fancer. I expected it to be painful. It wasn't. It was a lot to taie in but great fun and a terrific atmosphere.

I have taken a star off for the venue as the Palm Court is not wheelchair accessible - indeed getting in to the hotel at all required a staff member going to get a ramp and us entering through the bar in a confined space. That aside, the experience was wonderful. Staff make a real effort to turn it into an experience describing the menu - both food and drinks - and making sure that a birthday among our party was acknowledged (pianist playing Happy Birthday and a special dessert), Special "Seaso...

We really enjoyed the park lane afternoon tea, we have been to a few and this was one of the best. We don't like the posh stuffy hotels and preferred the more relaxed feel to this hotel, jeans were allowed (no trainers). The sandwiches and scones were very generous, the waiters continually topped them up without having to ask, same with the pots of tea. Overall a lovely afternoon.
