YOUR AUDIO ADVENTURE

This is where you and your phone go it alone. A route through forgotten courtyards, medieval alleys and hallowed churchyards, while you absorb the murky ‘History of the Coffeehouse’.

This meander through London will take about 90 minutes and you will be in excellent company.

The expert commentary will be provided by Dr Matthew Green, with the help of some thirteen actors, providing a very dramatic rather cinematic adventure. You won’t get lost. Directions are clear, and the walk can be conducted at your own pace. The city is still a strange and glorious place, and as for coffee….no wonder it keeps you awake.

Lina Stores also comes with a glorious history. Originally a Brewer Street delicatessen selling pasta that can only be described as divine. A Soho institution, where fresh pasta, sprinkled with semolina, has been taken home by homesick Italians and hungry Londoners for over 75 years.

Pasta still takes centre stage alongside antipasti and dolci and the location at Bloomberg Arcade is very much a temple to fresh pasta, wine and sharing plates. It’s noisy, friendly, everything you would want a modern Italian to be….as for the coffee…
