WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Honey has been used in beer long before hops came along, and Hiver has reimagined this ancient drink for the modern era. Sample their award-winning brews in this 50 minute tasting. An expert host will walk you through the brewery’s three signature honey drinks - two beers and a cider - all made with raw British honey from independent beekeepers. You’ll learn how the bees shape each flavour, and why honey from one postcode tastes nothing like honey from another.
There’s a plate of snacks to keep things civilised. Then comes the grand finale: a honey tasting. Once you’ve tried a few side by side, the supermarket squeezy bottle will never look the same again.
TELL ME MORE
It all happens in the tasting room at Hiver’s Taproom, in a railway arch right on the Bermondsey Beer Mile. The session is the perfect start to a foodie day out. Maltby Street Market is round the corner for lunch, and there are a dozen or more breweries to wander between afterwards. The taproom itself is a pretty good place to stay put, too. Think of it as the perfect warm-up act for a day out in SE1.

Wow what a find the Cheese Barge is. From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. The cheeses were to die for. The curried cheese curd was mind blowing. Will definitely be coming back for more. The staff were so attentive.

we celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary and they couldn't do enough for us. they went above and beyond what was expected

An ideal venue a short walk fro the railway station. IMO there was way too much talking from the compere, which meant I had to miss half of the main act to get my last train home. That was a real shame as he was the best of the night by far

We had a wonderful time! I bought this for my mum for Mother's Day, and the gift was very well received in it's beautiful packaging! We booked ourselves to take part in the 'Exotic Birds' class, on a Saturday afternoon at a lovely venue in East London. Set on the top floor, we had the city skyline as the backdrop for our 'Wildlife Drawing Class', and wow, how very wild an afternoon it was! There certainly were some entertaining antics from our exotic subject matter, who were expertly looked afte...

Toshika was a great course leader and explained everything clearly and in a fun way. Nice that it was in the private room of the snooty fox pub so we were able to buy drinks. Would thoroughly recommend . We made a flower and a crane! She was not in a hurry for us to leave at the end and clearly enjoys teaching!

We organised this as a surprise for a friend’s birthday. It was brilliant fun- nice and relaxed- the time flew by and we made some beautiful pots. Huge thanks to Francesca was a wonderful host and teacher.
