WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Blenheim Palace is a world heritage site. Seen from any angle in the Park it is quite extraordinary. In fact, it was built to be seen, at its best, from a distance. The site covers some 7 acres, so any visitor arriving would be struck by its appearance. This building is monumental. The interiors are equally grand as befitting the occupants, for this is the ancestral home to the Duke of Marlborough since 1705. It was designed by John Vanbrugh, and is also notable as the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.

There is a lot to see, including The Churchill Exhibition, which features historic artefacts, letters and photographs that give insight into this extraordinary man. In fact, there is more to see at Blenheim than you could ever absorb in just one day. From The Grand Bridge to The Chapel, this is a Palace that vies for your attention around every corner.

TELL ME MORE

You are staying at the Palace for tea. An elegant tea is waiting for you in The Orangery Restaurant. Blenheim sources all the produce locally from suppliers that are right on the doorstep, and after you have sconed, creamed and eaten your fill of finger sandwiches, you can still take a stroll about the gardens, which you can see from your table.

The Orangery has just received a total makeover. This is a Grade 1 listed building, and the craftsmanship is superb. It's all very bucolic, and the ideal spot to sample a cucumber and mint finger sandwich or a bridge roll or a carrot cake delice... Blenheim and a piece of Battenburg, now that’s a grand day out.
