WHAT HAPPENS IN THIS EXPERIENCE?
Take your seat and get ready for an afternoon spread with fromage firmly at the centre of proceedings.
You’ll tuck into a selection of mini brioche rolls filled with cheese, miniature quiches and a cheesy scone, before moving onto a trio of miniature cakes for something sweet.
There’s a tea of your choice to accompany the spread, but this is Champagne + Fromage, so of course there are bubbles too. Your experience includes a glass of Champagne, bringing together two things that are particularly good friends: fizz and cheese.
Champagne + Fromage work with small independent producers in France, sourcing artisan cheeses and grower Champagnes that celebrate proper French produce rather than the mass-produced stuff.

My husband and I had afternoon tea here which was a wedding present to us. The venue was stunning and the ambience was lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Mahmut explained the different options so it was very clear. You get a free glass of champagne and we were given Moët. The food was lovely. Very tasty and was endless. Would definitely recommend

Lovely venue. We had an Executive room which was very spacious with a balcony and views over the river. Dinner in the Lands End restaurant was excellent and breakfast the following morning too, plenty of choice. Great gift for our Anniversary.

We went to the cheese barge in August after I bought the experience for my husband’s birthday in March. To say it was brilliant is an under statement as it was way beyond brilliant. From the location to the cheese, wine plus the service and then the walk along the canal afterwards…well it was all so brilliant that it has now become a Christmas gift for another family member. A real twist on the ‘afternoon tea’ and just so enjoyable…and, oh, did I say the cheeses were pretty delicious too!
