Saturday afternoon. You’ve been shopping and stretched at the gym. Now is the prime time to think ‘brunch’. La Bibliotheque is the perfect venue to idle away the hours between 12.00 and 3.00. It’s luxurious with a Japanese aesthetic. From a design point of view, it is quite simply, lovely. Cool, dark and moody. If you’re a brunch aficionado, get ready to tick the boxes.
You will be indulging in La Bibliotheque’s famous milk bread, where the only liquid in the mix is milk. It makes for a super- fluffy moist texture and it’s the loaf everyone is talking about.
Then crack on with a starter and a main dish (expect seasonal and a cross fusion of mediterranean and Japanese dishes) and you really will have indulged in a very delightful dining experience setting you up for the evening ahead.
La Bibliotheque is located on Kingsland Road - the go to area for a foodie.

Fab hotel to stay. Food was delicious. Service from the staff was exceptional. Drink prices were extortionate. Very very clean. Easy access.
My sister and myself had a brilliant afternoon Tea at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel, London. We arrived slightly earlier than the time booked but this was no problem for the staff. Very friendly, courteous and attentive. Glass of champagne to start, sandwiches, cakes and tea and coffee. All very delicious and freshly made. We would certainly recommend this venue to people and intend visiting again.
Best 2 hours spent learning about aromas, essential oils and natural dyes, and you get a set of soaps at the end!
Trish was a lovely young lady who definitely has a passion for Hampton Court and was a great source of information. The bikes were easy to ride and it was just a perfect way to experience the Parks, the Thames and Hampton court palace. Highly recommended..
