A bubbly bottomless brunch with unlimited drinks in a historic Thames-side hotel with a secret spy past.   For two people.

WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT? 


Brunch. More breakfast or more lunch?  It covers the best of both worlds, and when it comes with a 'bottomless' supply of sparkling wine, beer or wine, you know that your afternoon just got a lot cheerier. For 90 minutes, you can relax in the Royal Horseguards Hotel dining room.  It's on the River Thames, at the Embankment.  There's a feeling of grandeur about the hotel, and it has seen a bit of history in its time. It's a landmark Victorian building that was once the headquarters of the secret service.

It's ideally placed if you want to 'do' London.  Near to the National Gallery (which has just reopened after a refurb), Trafalgar Square and theatre land.  It also boasts a resident ghost - a young girl who died from unrequited love for a soldier has been spotted roaming the corridors.  Every Victorian building needs a ghost.

But back to the brunch… the two courses are a delight.  Poached salmon kedgeree, eggs Benedict, smoked Duck Salad are just some of the treats from the menu, which does change seasonally.  Choose between a starter and a main course, or main course and a dessert.

Brunch is a proper indulgent treat. A treat to savour.  The only problem is who to go with?
