The session begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the history of terrariums, before getting stuck into the practical side. With guidance throughout, participants learn how to build the essential layers, prepare their plants and arrange them inside a glass jar. Moss and decorative stones provide the finishing touches, creating a self-contained miniature ecosystem to take home.
There’s plenty of advice on caring for the finished terrarium too. Once established, it needs very little maintenance, while ongoing care support is available for any plant-related questions that might arise.

I bought this workshop as a birthday present for a friend and it was such a fun afternoon. Claire was very helpful with telling us all we needed to know to make our own soaps. A great gift (where you end up with more gifts to give away!).
I had a great time. This was my first ever attempt at using a pottery wheel. The instructor was very kind and patient and willing to let me try all the steps myself. Highly recommend!
The Sunborn was luxurious and the staff, service, afternoon tea and breakfast were wonderful.The room and all the facilities were fantastic and the location was great and very close to the station, restaurants etc. We found a fantastic local pub in Canning town which was a great find and enjoyed our night with the locals.
First of all the venue is jaw dropping beautiful, staff very attentive and friendly to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. The afternoon tea was exceptional, presenting the food fabulously and tastes delicious. Would recommend for a special occasion with a date or take a mate for great experience.
My parents bought me this for my 40th birthday. Even though I want feeling well at the time my experience on the sunborn executive yacht was absolutely amazing. Definitely spend time here again
