WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
This baking masterclass is a great, hands on experience at the Smart School of Cookery’. There are two clear options to choose from. The two hour patisserie masterclass, which focuses on pastry techniques and classic French style bakes, covering profiteroles, mille feuille, apple tarte tatin, chocolate roulade and caramel work.
Alternatively they could choose the four hour artisan baking class which offers a broader programme with a changing menu of sweet and savoury bakes. Expect breads, pastries and desserts such as focaccia, scones, truffles, custard tarts, churros and more. Everything is made during the session, with professional chefs guiding each stage so the scope and content are easy to understand.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
Classes run at the Smart School of Cookery kitchens in Chelmsford, Essex and are fully practical. All ingredients, equipment and tuition are included. Each option is chef led, hands on and designed to clearly show what is covered and what is produced during the session. These sessions are for one or two people depending on the voucher purchased.

Food atmosphere and service was all fantastic. We had so much to eat and they kept offering more. The tea was amazing too so many different choices.
Me & my mum had a lovely time at this workshop, we found it super fun and relaxing- the perfect way to spend a saturday afternoon. The instructions were easy to follow and there was a big selection of china to choose from as well as lots of different designs! I'd definitely recommend this as a gift or for a little outing :)
