Railway fans and curious adventurers can get behind the controls of a Type 4 diesel locomotive on the scenic Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway.
The experience begins with a warm welcome from the railway crew and a safety briefing before heading onto the footplate. Then comes the exciting bit: taking the controls and driving around four miles of heritage railway, with approximately 2,500 horsepower at their command.

There’s something rather special about the combination of vintage railway atmosphere, serious mechanical power and lovely Oxfordshire scenery.
